Rose City Cemetery & Funeral Home was founded in 1906, and has served families in Portland and surrounding areas with professional care and compassion for 110 years. Funeral directors are local people who are on call 24 hours a day. Staff consists of general manager Jon Ollerenshaw, cemetery manager Michael Nelson, funeral directors Joel Heinzen, Lauren Rasmussen, Dan Hilton and Dan Silva, advanced planning specialist Nick B Olsen and a small army of grounds-keeping enthusiasts.
Both direct cremation and burial are provided, as well as green burials, pre-planning and cemetery counseling, personalized traditional burial and cremation with memorial services.
