Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary & Crematory on E. 100 Street lies to the north of Salt Lake City. The funeral home is within a short drive of several cemeteries and serves families of all denominations living in the metropolitan area of Salt Lake City.
The attractive white building contains a large chapel seating up to 250 people. Lovely gardens offer serenity and tranquility before funeral services begin. Several generations of the O'Donnell family have served their local community for more than 125 years.
Established in 1889, the business is today owned and managed by licensed mortician Mike O'Donnell. He is supported by funeral director Katherine O'Donnell, counselor JoDe Bacon, funeral director Stephen Schroeder, and Phil Lopez, assistant funeral director and bilingual (Spanish/English) liaison officer for the local Hispanic community.
Traditional funereal service includes use of funeral coach (hearse) or limousine to the burial site and cremations with memorial services as well as direct cremations without formal ceremony. Services are personalized to suit families needs, customs and traditions. Funeral merchandise includes memorial folders and book markers, prayer cards, urns, grave markers, caskets and flowers.
