Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services has been serving Louisburg and the Franklin County area since 1935. The firm was founded and operated by the Lancaster family until 1996 when William Lancaster Jr. retired. The firm has been through several transitions since that time, but now is a local family operation. Ryan Brown who had been a business partner and general manager at Lancaster since December 2012 purchased the entire business on March 31, 2017. Mr. Brown felt that the entire focus of Lancaster needed to be on Franklin County. The staff now assembled have a vision, presence, and commitment to the community and conduct funeral services with a focus on Christian family values. Our commitment to Franklin County is evident with chapels and offices in both Louisburg and Franklinton, Lancaster Memorial Park on Hwy 561 outside of Louisburg and on-site cremation facilities, we are able to serve you with the highest quality of care and convenient to you.
