“ We buried a relative from this location two years ago. While everything was done well, we were charged about 35% more than what this web site indicates even though our loved one desired a not-too-fancy casket. Mr. Doherty was completely without compassion and insisted on CASH payment on the day of the viewing. I inquired about a credit card payment and was told the cost would be 3% higher. I am pretty sure this is not legal, but did not want to pursue it at the time. I felt as though our emotional state was taken advantage of, and in addition we had the stress of having to figure out a way to move a significant quantity of money around on short notice to meet the payment requirements. Perhaps it is time for Mr. Doherty to retire if he hasn't already. ”
