Van Orsdel Family Funeral Homes - Midtown Miami Chapel is one of four funeral homes under the Van Orsdel family’s business portfolio. The original facility was founded in 1924. The Midtown Chapel is operated out of a 2-story white stucco building, which features ample parking in the rear.
Henry G. and Adella Van Orsdel began Van Orsdel Family Funeral Homes alongside his son, Clifford. Together, the family grew the business to include all four chapels by simply treating each client with love and trust. Clifford’s son, Donald, took over the business in the 1960s, and now the fourth generation serves the Miami community.
This family funeral business offers traditional funeral service and burial offerings, as well as special options, such as direct cremation, international transport and even at-sea ash scattering ceremonies.
