Greenwood Mortuary & Memorial Park on Imperial Avenue is within a short drive of Mount Hope Cemetery and convenient for access to Freeways 5 and 805. The funeral home serves the communities of San Diego and San Marcos.
Both direct cremation and direct burial are offered alongside traditional burial with graveside and cremation with memorial services.
Established in 1907, the funeral home and memorial park occupy a 125-acre site just five miles east of downtown San Diego. The facility includes several spacious chapels seating between 200 and 250 guests, a crematory and mortuary, three mausoleums and spectacular gardens with a collection of international and rare plant specimens. Various lagoons and lakes dotted with multi-colored lilies are sited among the lush parkland, offering tranquil surroundings and privacy before and after funeral service.
Greenwood Mortuary & Memorial Park serves all faiths and is a proud provider of services to the military community. Today, the large team of dedicated staff is led by general manager Cathy Fiorelli and includes several bilingual team members (Spanish/English).
