Where to begin… this was the hardest and most heaviest feeling of pain I’ve ever faced in my life. I didn’t know where to start as the emotions blind sided me of my mother’s sudden passing. All I knew is I needed to put her to rest! I went to Sierra View to get some answers on pricing and the process. The moment my sister and I walked in the door we were treated with care, understanding and respect for our loss. (Which we didn’t get that from the others & it was about money.) Jessy greeted us and Jill assisted us, from that moment on… we felt this is the place that we trust with our mother. The pricing was very reasonable out of all others but it wasn’t just that… they made us feel like family! We brought our other three siblings back to help make the final decision which they immediately felt what we felt. We were pressed with time to get my mom out of the UC Davis corners and with little time - Sierra View was quick to accommodate us.I’ll just say they made everything so smooth from the moment, I signed the documents to the end of my last goodbye with my mom in her casket. My mother’s viewing and funeral was absolutely beautiful! Jill helped me in so… many ways that I cannot thank her enough! Jessy was so sweet and helped with greeting and sitting our guest. Though this will be a long road of healing ❤️ and recovering from My Mother’s passing - I know she was in the best care! I absolutely recommend visiting Sierra View Funeral Home for you funeral needs and ask for Jill! I thank everyone at Sierra View!!!! One other thing I like to add, they texted me a couple of times and months later to just check on us. Now that’s a caring heart!

Sierra View assisted my family and I in 2000, 2021 and 2022. Every single time the staff have been wonderful, helpful, and empathetic. They have always gone above and beyond to ensure our loved ones were taken care of with kindness and compassion. They also ensured we had everything we needed for a timely funeral, forms, permits and certificates. Their prices were extremely reasonable and affordable. They also followed up every time to ensure we were ok and see if there was anything we needed. I would highly recommend them without hesitation to handle one of the most difficult times in your life.

I've never had to make funeral arrangements before until my brother passed away. Matt at Sierra View Funeral Chapel made it easy, explaining options available, with no stress and was sympathetic to my dilemma of not knowing what to do. I was referred to Sierra View in 2019 when there was a sudden death in the family and I needed to take care of everything. They are so professional and caring the process was very easy. Also, there rates were 50% of the only other place I considered! The widow of the 2019 death passed this May 2022 and I returned to Sierra View. Even with Covid, super easy and perfectly handled! The urns needed to go to Southern California for interment and they handled that, too. The mortuary in So. Cal. commented that the urns sent were some of the most beautiful they had ever seen.
