Bradshaw-Carter Memorial & Funeral Services is situated on W. Alabama Street in Houston's Midtown, close to Interstate 69 and River Oaks Country Club. The funeral home addresses the needs of Metro Houston's families and is within a 30-mile radius of several cemeteries.

A series of elegant Georgian-style, white and red-brick buildings surrounded by mature trees and ample parking welcomes funeral guests. Inside are a large chapel seating up to 200 guests, elegant, private family rooms, receptions and seating areas, all exquisitely and richly furnished to create an 18th century country house atmosphere.

Co-founded by the late Ronald Bradshaw in 2003, the funeral home offers compassionate, distinguished funeral service that includes direct cremation alongside traditional burial and cremation funeral service. Families have the option to personalize any funeral services. Catered receptions with full “wake menus,” options for in-house music and a wide selection of caskets, vaults and urns are all part of overall services.

Today, the funeral home is operated by Ronald Bradshaw's long-time partner Michael “Tripp” Carter, who co-founded the business as funeral director, crematory operator and pre-arrangement counselor. He is supported by Ron's brother, funeral director and embalmer Raymond J. Bradshaw, and a team of caring professionals.

No longer family owned, prices have gone up extremely since they sold and service levels have gone down.

The Entire Team with Bradshaw & Carter are truly amazing with all their care and compassion. Have known most of them for years and must say Bradshaw & Carter IS the prettiest funeral home ever. I told my Mother's best friend, Mrs.John S. Dunn, that Bradshaw picked up my Mother and asked her if she knew of this funeral home and she told me a beautiful story. Sue went to a book signing party there with her 11 year old grandson. When they were leaving, her grandson looked up at her and remarked, "Sue Sue, this place is so beautiful can we stay awhile?" Others thar heard it just chuckled.
