R.S. Lewis & Sons Funeral Home on Vance Avenue is located in the heart of downtown Memphis. The funeral home is within a short drive of the city's oldest cemeteries, including Elmwood Cemetery and serves the needs of families living in greater Memphis.
From their beige and red, stucco and brick building the funeral home has provided a comprehensive funeral service for more than 90 years. Visitors are greeted by an imposing portico, before entering a well-appointed foyer and viewing/visitation area. Suitable for small to medium sized funeral gatherings, the facility provides a choice of direct cremation, traditional burial with graveside service and cremation with memorial services.
Merchandise includes a selection of urns, caskets and vaults and funeral service includes the use of limousines to transfer remains. Domestic and international shipping is also available.
Funeral service is personalized in accordance with families' needs and customs, and all cemeteries are served. Families can choose the chapel, church or other appropriate venue where a meaningful, memorable ceremony should be held for their loved ones.
