Rachubinski & Rogers Funeral Homes occupy a location just opposite the Central Waterfront area near I-95, a short drive from the Theater of the Living Arts. The funeral home is within a 5 mile radius of two cemeteries and looks after South Philadelphia's Pennsport and wider tri-state communities.
Inside the light-brown brick building with its attractive 1930s facade are housed a chapel and visitation and casket rooms that are ideal for small and medium-sized family gatherings and memorial services. The funeral home offers traditional burial, “green” burial or cremation and direct cremation services from its two Philadelphia-based locations, the second funeral home being located just a little further down from I-95 in Queen Village.
Founded in 1895, the family-owned and operated business offers bespoke funeral service that has two aspects: how to honor and celebrate life and how to care best for the physical remains.
The bespoke funeral service also includes keepsake gifts of tree seedlings or wildflower seeds for example, releasing doves, butterflies or balloons at the end of the service.
