Crown Memorial Centers is situated on N.E. Broadway, conveniently close to Portland's Freeway system and within 20 miles of two cemeteries. The funeral home serves the needs of families in the Metro-Portland area.
The small yellow brick building offers families ample parking spaces; inside is a state-of-the-art cremation facility that is privately owned and operated with affordability in mind. No “third-party contractors” are used for any part of the funeral service, which includes both direct cremation and burial as well as traditional burial and cremation with memorial service. A small family room/casket room provides privacy before funeral service begins.
This facility is one of three Crown Memorial Centers in the Portland area, and there are additional facilities in Milwaukee, Salem and Tualatin. Founded by Jim and Flora Pryor, the funeral home has always aimed to provide less expensive funeral services by eliminating costly third parties and ostentatious funeral home buildings.
Additional services include green cremations and funeral merchandise such as discount urns, markers, jewelry and custom memorial folders.
