Salazar Mortuary dates all the way back to 1918 when the business began on Third Street. The business moved to its current location, a white art deco building, on 3rd Street in 1946. A second facility for this funeral and cremation business was opened in 2004.
Elfego Salazar began this funeral home alongside his son, Frank A. Salazar. Now, Salazar Mortuary has passed through four generations of the Salazar family. Louis and Gloria Salazar took over the family business in 2013 and continue the traditions of service.
With an onsite crematory, Salazar Mortuary operates as a full-service facility. Customers have several options when it comes to cremation, including direct cremation, which is the base offering. All burials and funeral services can be completely personalized, though families can choose traditional services, as well.
