“ My sister died unexpectedly with no funeral arrangements. Hanes Lineberry picked the body up from a the place of death and after getting the body the director explained that the lowest cost for a traditional funeral was $16,000, plus tax. The director declaired this to be he lowest possible cost. When we sought to change funeral homes, the cost was dropped about $4,500. Because embalming and other services had already been performed, we stayed with Hanes Lineberry but still ended up paying about $3,000 to $4,000 more than we should have. It was a nice funeral, still my family felt we had been miss-led, out-right lied to, and taken advantage of during a difficult and vulnerable time. None of us will ever recommend Hanes Lineberry. ”
