It was William P. Washburn that began this funeral business, and in 1931, his nephew, Donald McReavy, joined the team and renamed the corporation Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapels. Since this time, the business has been passed down through the McReavy family, with now the third generation providing compassionate care to the community.
