Joseph W. Casper & Son Funeral Home serves the South Boston and surrounding greater Boston community. The funeral home is situated near I-93, within approximately five miles of two cemeteries. Massachusetts Hospitals, the airport and the Medical Examiners' Office are also nearby.
The funeral home occupies two historic corner buildings, one is red-brick built, the other has a charming white weather-boarded facade. Traditional burial and cremation, veterans' burial and direct cremation are offered; the facilities include a chapel, state and reception rooms that can accommodate all faiths and cultures in bespoke ceremonies suitable for small or large funeral receptions.
The family-owned and operated business was established by husband and wife team Joseph and Florence Casper in 1930. Now in its 3rd generation, the business is run by funeral directors Joseph, David and Kenneth Casper. They are supported by highly experienced funeral service professionals who can provide bilingual (Spanish and English) and translation services upon request.
