This cremation and funeral business has been serving the Louisville community for over 100 years, as it was founded in 1907. There are two locations from which A.D. Porter & Sons operates, one downtown and another in the southeast portion of the city. The downtown branch is housed in a traditional brick 2-story building and includes two 200-person chapels for funeral services.
Arthur D. Porter, Sr. founded this funeral home to ensure families always had access to high-quality services for their loved ones. Now, the fourth generation of Porters continue this legacy.
