The funeral home has a prime location that allows it to serve the Babe Denny and Bates-Hendricks regions of the city. Concordia Cemetery is located less than 2 miles from the facility, and Round Hill Cemetery is less than 5.
Dating back well-over a century, Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services was established in 1896. The funeral home has been located on South Meridian Street since its founding; however it moved from its original building to its present location in the 1920s. The white 3-story building in which the business is housed has a traditional look and modern funeral amenities, including a 150-person chapel.
Anthony J. Lauck was the proprietor of Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services. The business is currently owned and operated by Jeff Veldhof and his staff.
Online pre-planning services make it easy for families to plan burials, cremations and funeral services from the comfort of their own homes. Those that choose direct cremations have the option to include memorials. The staff is available 24 hours a day for immediate assistance.
