“ My mother passed away in early 2015 and the burden of her last expenses fell on my brother and me. Having never been through this process, I trusted the funeral director we met. When he gave me a final quote of $10,000, I specifically asked how we could lower the cost. His answer was "there's really not much we can do to lower the cost". I was distraught over my mother's death and so accepted the bill. In hindsight I am DISGUSTED that this man took advantage of us at such a vulnerable time. There were ABSOLUTELY ways we could have lowered the cost, but he behaved extremely unethically and flat out lied to us. I would not recommend anyone use this service. ”
