Taylor's Funeral Home on N. Capitol Street occupies a leafy corner in N.W. Washington and serves the needs of families living in the north of the city. The funeral home is within a 30-mile radius of several cemeteries.
Featuring distinctive early 19th century architecture – complete with round turret – the light blue building contains a small chapel that can accommodate 80 to 100 guests. Every funeral service is personalized in accordance with the family's needs, faith, customs and traditions.
Both direct cremation and burial are offered alongside traditional funerals and cremation packages with memorial services or contemporary, less formal celebrations of a loved one's life.
The North-West Washington facility is one of two funeral homes owned and operated by licensed funeral director Ronald M. Taylor II, who also owns a funeral home in Baltimore.
