John T. Rhines Funeral Home is located on 12th Street in north-east Washington and has served the metropolitan community and neighboring Maryland area for more than 94 years. The funeral home is near Highway 1, and serves all faiths, cultures and nationalities. Several cemeteries are located within a 30-mile drive of the facility.
An attractive white and light-brown marbled facade greets guests with a bright red canopy over the entrance, when they arrive for funeral service. Inside the modern building guests will find a comfortably furnished chapel that can accommodate up to 300 guests. There are ample parking spaces for clients and their guests.
Established in 1906, the family-owned and operated business provides families with both affordable direct cremation and burial as well as traditional burial with graveside and cremation with memorial services, veterans services, pre-planning and sale of funeral merchandise such as caskets and urns.
A small team of dedicated, professional staff strives to offer assistance 365 days a year and tries to help families in their time of sorrow with personalized funeral service that honors life and memory of loved ones according to the family's customs and traditions.
