DeVol Funeral Home on 2222 Wisconsin serves the needs of communities living in the north-west of Washington, the wider metropolitan area of D.C. and Maryland. Close to Kimpton Glover Park and just past the Guy Mason Recreation Center, the funeral home is within a 25-mile radius of several cemeteries.
The solid-looking, brown-brick facility contains spacious visitation areas and a chapel that can accommodate any size of funeral gathering. Personalized funeral service options include direct cremation, contemporary and traditional burial with graveside and cremation with celebrant services, as well as traditional funeral service with military honors at Arlington National Cemetery. Preplanning and funeral merchandise are also available.
Founded in 1946, the family owned and operated facility is one of two locations, the other being Gaithersburg, Maryland. The Georgetown facility in Washington D.C. is operated by funeral directors Kevin G. DeVol, Henry S. Ford and Erin Hess.
Mr. DeVol is a 3rd generation funeral director who ensures that families, regardless of religious affiliation, will receive the kind of personal service and attention to detail that does justice to the memory of the loved one's life that is being celebrated.
