The funeral home and cemetery is Denver's second oldest and is also close to Riverside Cemetery, which is the city's oldest cemetery, dating back to 1876.
The lovely light gray, Gothic-revival chapel is surrounded by mature trees and landscaped parkland of Denver's most beloved cemetery. Established in 1890, Fairmount Cemetery's chapel can seat up to 200 guests in comfort and has very modern amenities inside, despite its ancient heritage.
Traditional burial and cremation are both provided, as is direct cremation without ceremony. Burial property has become available again at Riverside, and the funeral home can provide pre-planning services to families, should they wish to buy a plot in this historic cemetery.
