Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home Inc. on Folsom Blvd. is located half-way between East City and Alhambra Triangle. It serves the East Sacramento community and is within a few miles of two cemeteries.
The spacious white and gray corner building contains a chapel that seats up to 240 guests and a family room with private entrance that can seat up to 35 people in comfortable, home-like surroundings. Overall funeral service includes direct cremation, burial with graveside services and cremation with memorial services.
Now part of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers, the business was originally founded in 1932 by A. J. Nicoletti and Fred Cippa and based at 27th and O Streets. After acquiring shares from his business partner, Mr. Nicoletti was able to build the current facility at Folsom Blvd. where he opened a funeral home as sole owner in March 1960. After a variety of mergers, the funeral home became the Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home it is today.
Modern video and audio capabilities are provided to help families create a lasting pictorial tribute to loved ones. All funeral services are personalized, whichever package families choose.
