Funeraria Del Angel Mirabal Mortuary is situated on N. Broadway. Just off Interstate-5, it sits at the edge of the Montecito Heights district of Los Angeles. The funeral home serves Hispanic communities of Montecito Heights, Glendale Junction and Mission Junction and is within a 30-mile radius of several cemeteries, chapels and churches.
The beautiful historic building welcomes visitors with a friendly white facade and lovely gardens. A bright, spacious chapel accommodates up to 125 guests. Comfortable and well-appointed family rooms and a reception room suitable for small catered funeral receptions provide privacy before and after funeral service.
The family-operated business was founded by Bill Mirabel in 1960. In 1995, the business joined Jardines y Funerarias Del Angel™, a brand linking a network of funeral homes and cemeteries in Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, Rio Grande Valley, Miami, Tucson, Yuma, El Paso, Corpus Christi, Houston, San Antonio and Puerto Rico.
Both direct cremation and burial as well as traditional burial and cremation are provided, in addition to transfer of remains to and from other funeral homes and veterans' burials. Funeral home personnel are bilingual to be of maximum assistance to families in their time of need.
