Nova Crematory Service is located at 435 North Echo in West Fresno, within a 25-30 mile drive of several cemeteries. The funeral home has served communities in Fresno and surrounding areas for many years.
The white and gray facility sits on landscaped grounds with mature trees, presenting a friendly welcome when funeral guests arrive. Funeral service can be held at the facility's own chapel or at a church of the family's choice. The funeral home also contains a well-appointed visitation area.
The funeral home was run for many years by funeral director David Loper. When he passed away in 2010, his long-time friend Steven Smith took over as Managing Funeral Director, supporting the business now operated by David's wife Colleen and son Jonathan.
Personalized funeral service can be traditional, including embalming, viewing and casket with burial, or it can be direct burial without viewing period or chapel/church services. Direct cremation and cremation with memorial service are also offered. Cremated remains can be scattered at sea or on land. Nova Crematory Service can also arrange pre-planning.
