“ Beware! The worst experience I have ever had and will live with until the day I die. I was promised by Brad Miller he would take care of everything. As I had let him know this was the first burial I have had to organize. It was for my 97-year-old grandmother. Let me first start by saying my grandmother was at home in Placerville Ca when she passed. I was told by Brad Miller my contact at Hadley Marcom Funeral Chapel that they personally would pick her up in and take her straight to the Visalia location. That did not happen. When I called Brad to let him know that she had passed it was in the afternoon 12 PM. It is a four-hour drive to pick her up. He asked me if he could send one person, he was short on staff. Again, not knowing how the process works and just minutes of losing my grandmother still in tears I agreed. When the man showed up, he was not from Hadley’s he was a third party just a person from Santa Cruz Ca he said. Did not have any information on my grandma only that he was taking her to a holding place near Selma Ca if I remember right. And Hadley’s would come get her in the morning. There was nothing I could do. This story gets worse! Now with sending only one person this guy needs help getting my grandmother in his SUV that had the seats folded down and a piece of plywood! I now know what the phrase “Tag and Bag “comes from. As me and my nephew had to help him put a tag with my grandmother’s name on her ankle and wrap her in plastic before we helped him lift her on a gurney thru her bedroom door. I will never forget it! This story just keeps going. At the viewing which I paid for 4 hours I got 2 hours. There was no staff person to direct and greet my family at the Farmersville location. I called the Visalia office they said Brad was at lunch. There was no guest sign in book or the handouts about my grandmother there either. Then at about 1pm when the 2-hour viewing was over .Brad showed up with the book and handouts and said “WELL THEY WERE COMPLEMENTARY ANYWAYS” ”
