Harbor Lawn-Mt Olive Memorial Park & Mortuary is located just 2.17 miles from downtown Costa Mesa, near San Diego Freeway and within a short drive of the Observatory. The funeral home serves the wider Costa Mesa, Los Angeles and Orange county communities and provides Costa Mesa's main cemetery, although two more are located within a 30 mile radius.
The elegant, large brown brick building features a chapel, visitation room, reception and casket room and can accommodate family gatherings with approximately 100 guests quite comfortably. The surrounding gardens are a peaceful setting for moments of quiet reflection after services.
No direct burial without ceremony is offered, but direct cremation as well as traditional cremation with ceremony are available, as well as catered receptions and veteran burials.
The cemetery was established in 1952 and the current mortuary buildings followed in 1978. As Costa Mesa's principal cemetery, Harbor Lawn-Mt Olive Memorial Park & Mortuary also offers veteran memorial plots, markers, headstones and other cemetery property in addition to funeral service such as traditional burial and cremation.
