Hudgel's Swan Funeral Home Inc. is situated on 1335 South Swan Road, serving the community of South East Tucson. Convenient for the I-10 and I-19 intersection, the funeral home is within a 25-30 mile radius of two cemeteries.
Visitors enter the spacious white facility via an elegant reception, before filing into a welcoming and bright chapel that can seat up to 100 guests. The funeral home also contains two onsite crematories.
The original Hudgel funeral business was founded by grandfather Richard Hudgel in Iowa back in the 1930s. His son Edwin founded his first Arizona funeral home in Wilcox in 1959, before buying the plot of land where he built the current facility at S. Swan Road. Today, the business is still family-owned and operated by third generation funeral directors Warren and Brian Hudgel.
Funeral service packages include direct cremation and immediate burial as well as traditional burial and cremation with memorial services. Personalized chapel, church or graveside memorial services are available, as are merchandise like urns and caskets, flowers and cards via the Expressions of Sympathy ™ network and transfer of remains.
