Desert Rose Heather Mortuary & Chapel on N. Columbus Boulevard is conveniently close to I-10 access and within a 30-40 mile radius of four cemeteries. The funeral home serves families from all ethnic backgrounds and religious beliefs in the metropolitan Tucson area.
The large yellow-brick facility is surrounded by ample parking spaces. Opened in 1988, the facility contains a modern, well-appointed family lounge and spacious, bright chapel suitable for any size of funeral gathering.
In 1992, the Heather family sold their funeral home and chapel became to an affiliate of Service Corporation International; mortuary and chapel are now part of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. Traditional burial, veterans services, direct cremation and cremation with memorial services are included in the wide range of personalized funeral service packages available.
Heather Mortuary can also arrange catered funeral receptions and provide families with access to the National Transferability of Prearranged Services, the Bereavement Travel Program and the 24-Hour Compassion Helpline®.
