When we founded National Cremation in 1973, we set out to help families that choose cremation for their final needs by providing a simple and affordable cremation service. Today, 160,000 families later, we are the nation’s oldest and largest provider of cremation services, still helping families plan.
We have learned from our client families along the way. We have learned that individuals and families choose cremation for a variety of reasons. Many choose cremation for the low cost and simplicity; others to reduce their eternal land use. Over the years, we’ve become not only cremation specialists, but cremation experts.
National Cremation appreciates the opportunity to work with you and your family and show you how simple cremation can be. Whether you have an immediate need at the time of death or are preplanning cremation for a future need, you are sure to find that our cremation services meet your needs.

“ I question whether this company should be in business? The previous review says… go fur burial because this company is the most unprofessional ever encountered. Allstate Insurance has been contacting them asking for a response on three different occasions, with no response whatsoever. And, I called fur my wife earlier today with no response twice. It doesn’t appear that they are a viable business entity because their business tactics are shameful and deplorable! ”
“ Choose burial! This is the most unprofessional corporation I have run across. Management lies and one hit wonder sales tactics. ”
“ Pre-planning is a wonderful way to make sure everything is taken care of when someone dies. I have my plan all set up and I have peace knowing that my kids won't have to be stressed out. I am very happy with the decision I made as several friends have used National and only had great things to say about this company. ”
“ The people and this company are amazing! The level of professionalism is wonderful. They were prompt and sensitive and completed everything on time at the price quoted. This is a no frills service and a low cost provider but nothing is lacking here at all. I highly recommend this company. Every detail was taken care of and I was informed all the way through. When I went to pick up my wife's remains we all hugged and cried together. You can't fake that folks. These people are the real deal. ”
“ The people writing negative reviews have not even done business with this company! Complaining about salesmen or mailers is all I hear. Not all salesmen are pushy. I know 1st hand that National Cremation Society handles things in a dignified manner. I am surprised that Yelp even posts these reviews since they have nothing to do with the quality of their services. ”
“ Just my own personal experience with my father's passing. National Cremation did everything they said they would do at the cost that my father initially started with. Jeff was so amazing and helpful in attaining the death certificate and making sure of anything else he could do for us during a time when I didn't know which end was up! Thank you! In addition I just received noticed they donated a stuff bear in my Dad's name to a local charity for children in need. ”
“ First of all I am completely blown away that this company only had two stars. We received nothing but the most professional service and care when it came to picking out the urn and coordinating the cremation of my father-in-law, Wallace or "Pete" as we called him. We were from Chicago but had Pete in a great memory care facility in Scottsdale. He passed away in Arizona so everything with his cremation had to take place in Arizona. It was two days before Pete's memorial and we haven't received his remains. We spoke to a man named Jeff, who was wonderful. He said his remains were being sent to him tomorrow and that he will overnight them to us so they arrive in time for the funeral. Sure enough he did what was said. We received them the following day and he called to make sure that they arrived. Also, followed-up with a few more phone calls making sure that we received the urn and that everything went ok with the service. You can't beat that customer service. He was on top of everything and just went above and beyond to make sure that Pete made it back in time for his celebration of life. We cannot thank Jeff enough for his impeccable customer service. Thanks for making what was a hard and emotional few days less stressful. We cannot thank you enough! Sincerely, The Peterson Family from Chicago ”
