Meldrum Mortuary & Crematory at 53 North MacDonald Street in central Mesa is located within a 20-mile radius of two cemeteries and has served the wider Mesa area from this location since the facility was founded in 1927.
The spacious stand-alone facility offers funeral guests ample parking all around. The light gray building greets visitors with a bright red roof and contains a modern chapel seating up to 200 guests. The elegant foyer with its home-like furnishings offers families comfort and an intimate setting before funeral service begins. The facility also contains an onsite crematory, which means no third party is involved in the cremation process.
Founded by Jess and Inez Meldrum, the mortuary and crematory are today owned and operated by their son, Mark R. Meldrum, and their grandson Mark C. Meldrum, who is the company's president.
As one of the few remaining family-owned and operated mortuaries and crematories in the area, the funeral home offers a highly professional, dignified funeral service that includes direct cremation, traditional burial with chapel or graveside services and cremation with visitation, ceremony or memorial services.
